Hello, can I speak to Tenuku?

great.

just great.

another name...haih.

the guy from Bank of Ireland called me Tenggu.

Onder the Turkish guy calls me Ataki.

Rolex the Chinese guy calls me Akita.

(Atiqah, refrain yourself from stating that they have weird names, dont do to others what you dont want others do to you.)

JR's dad called me Tisha.

Domino's saved my details, and they're forever printing my name Adeeka on the pizza boxes.

i suppose i just have to come to terms with the fact that some people will never be able to pronounce my name properly..it comes with a package as a foreigner come to live overseas, the locals just get flabbergasted everytime we tell them our names.

not to be unthankful, most of them do know how to say Atiqah properly.

the only person that doesnt have this problem is, of course, Kak Rose. cehss.

p.s. Anyway i'm super glad the guy from Sony Centre called...i can have my mp3 back, yeayyy!!!

the chinese keep pronouncing 'TUNKU' even after i spelt my name and recently my friend (our sedara oso) Nolee got hotel people call her Tanjung coz she used short form.

My evil friends back in Maher always mock my name so i make it a point to spell my name in full instead of "Tg."

Btw, tiq, are u obsessed with ur name or what? u name ur blog with ur name!! but then again, ur still as student so what harm can it give u.. i can't really disclose who i am in case people from my office stumble into my blog. hahaha.
